Pismo Beach conquered!

We did it! We finally took a weekend off! Turned off the cell phones! Turned off Los Angeles! Turned off AFI! Turned off SMC! Turned ON life!
We drove to the Pismo Beach! What an amazing place. The tranquility mixed with the excitement of life. We enjoyed in nothingness... Oh how truly wonderful it was. We shall return some more. And stay longer! Always! Forever!

THE FEAST!

The feast for the gods! Cracked crab is one awesome fresh seafood restaurant! Food was amazing. And they bring it in buckets! And just dump it onto the table. Afterwards - the fun, the feast begins!

It was such a magnificent day. So we decided to go for a short bike ride and apartment watching through Venice. We explored Abbot Kinney street. And of course - we had to stop for a cup of coffee...

Palm Desert & 35th Anniversary

Palm desert was taken over by four Slovenians for a few days... My parents celebrated 35th wedding anniversary - so Vesna and moi surprised them with a trip to Palm Desert - Golfers heaven as well as fun resort! I think they deserved it since not only they managed to happily enjoy each other for 35 years - they also had to endure the chaos and the mayhem of Danijel Sraka for 32 years too. I trust me - by the stories and memories my parents like to share so often - I was quite a workload, not to mention pain in the behind... Well - here is to you mom and dad - to the most wonderful parents one could ever dream to have! Happy anniversary!

The wind was blowing with such might that it almost ran us off the road. Sand was everywhere, devouring the road as well as the sky. Visibility was close to none. Our Scion XB A.K.A. GROM (Thunder) was wrapped in a yellow fury as it inched its way to our destination. JOSHUA TREE NATIONAL PARK! We didn't give up! And we were richly rewarded by the beauty unmatched in the universe (except for my favourite Orange, my precious, my beautiful Vesna)...

Santa Monica Mountains with Tachka

Finally some time for ourselves!!! We went to the Santa Monica Mountains over the weekend. With Tachka. No AFI! No SMC! Just the three of us! And it was awesomeeeeeeee! And fun! And of course - pure joy!
